By combining SaaS with Oracle’s Platform as a Service (PaaS) they have created a flexible solutions that meets the customer requirements for flexibility and adaptability.

Customer Case Study - NIBIO achieves peace of mind with Oracle’s managed database services Norsk institutt for bioøkonomi (NIBIO) has migrated two key systems to Oracle’s ExaData Express. They now enjoy the benefits of a fully managed and highly available database services at a lower cost than their original on premise database solution. These systems play a central role in determining farming subsidies and (future) financing models of farming in Norway. Safe and predictable operations of these systems is therefore vital.

Customer Case Study - Hjertestarterregisteret (113.no) Nasjonal kompetansetjeneste for prehospital akuttmedisin (NAKOS) is a government owned center in the field of emergency medicine outside of hospitals. It acts as an advisor for central health authorities and others. In 2015 the Norwegian Directorate of Health gave the task of building a national registry of public- and privately owned defibrillators to NAKOS. The project went live on Oracle Cloud in 2017. Today thousands of defibrillators are registered across Norway at 113.no. Siw Lilly Osmundsen, the project leader of this lifesaving project, tells the story about the importance of the registry, the sceptics and the success.

We will then up the ante and show how we can use Oracle’s AI and Machine Learning capabilities to determine relationships in health data on heart conditions – all in a matter of minutes.
