What we’re about

This group is about developing Enterprise-grade Cloud Native applications on the Oracle Cloud Platform, covering topics like Microservices Architecture, developing in Node, Python and PHP, using Low Code development tools to build Mobile apps, and much more.

Join this group if you want to follow Oracle's solutions in this area, or participate in the events and hands-on labs we organize.

As part of our effort, we recently set up a Gitlab group, currently hosting 2 opensource projects:

Skynet - As mentioned in our last Meetup, we'll soon to have a Drone to "play with". The idea is that with each Meetup, we'll develop some cool new features on the Drone itself, and use concepts like IoT, API Management and Messaging to introduce really cool behaviors in the Drone as well as integrate its operations with backend systems. We're expecting the get the Drone in time for the next Meetup, in January, where we'll do an introduction to the new member of the family.
Karitato - Project Karitato (means Charity in Esperanto) is our main program, which will host different open-source projects targeted at building easy solutions for Charity Organizations (don't mistake with non-profit), so they can do more and better charity without spending money on IT. With an already not so small community (200+ members), most of them techies, we would like to get together all this talent to build cool software useful for charity organizations, so that they focus their budget in helping others. Things like donation portals, simple webshops for merchandising, or even build codelabs for training students with difficulties, everything that can help the world be a better place will find support here.

Maybe we're daydreaming and this is a utopia, but that's how the biggest breakthroughs in human history took place.

We definitely would like to get your feedback on this initiative and these two projects/programs.
